Job Title : Quantum Computing Researcher

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction.
• Design and simulate quantum circuits and systems for real-world applications in cryptography, optimization, chemistry, and machine learning.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to apply quantum computing techniques to business and scientific challenges.
• Contribute to the development of software libraries and tools for quantum programming using platforms like Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
• Stay current with the latest academic and industrial advancements in quantum computing.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences and workshops.
• Participate in grant writing, research proposals, and collaborative research initiatives with academic and government partners.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns working in the quantum computing space.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong background in quantum mechanics, quantum computing, or quantum information science.
• Experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, Forest, or similar.
• Proficiency in Python and/or other scientific programming languages.
• Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
