The Treasury Cash Accountant is responsible for building and executing treasury-related controllership and risk management activities. This role will own key accounting, controls, and policy monitoring processes across the global treasury function, enabling strategic financial decision-making while maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, applied knowledge of key financial control concepts governing treasury, a solid understanding of financial markets, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Analyze and reconcile global cash accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate, timely recording of transactions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury reports, assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards across cash, debt and equity
  • Assist with account administration including online banking access, automatic transfers and other key attributes
  • Support complex foreign currency and hedging program via trade entry, settlement and accounting review
  • Support inter-company and working capital management activities, collaborating with other departments (Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting) to optimize cash flow
  • Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CTP, or CFA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting function
  • Strong knowledge of treasury operations, banking transactions, and financial instruments
  • Proficiency in financial systems and treasury management software (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP, Kyriba, GTreasury, FXAll)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in multinational or corporate treasury functions
  • Knowledge of financial risk management and FX hedging
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance related to treasury operations
