As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Financial in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific policies, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
  • Must be able to carry and properly use handcuffs, pepper spray, and a sidearm as required for armed positions.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
