Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Ultrasound department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service. Education required includes an Associates degree in Radiology/Ultrasound or Certificate Program in Radiology/Ultrasound. Licenses and certifications vary by location but include RDMS or AART (S) registered or registry eligible, vascular certification within one year of hire, BLS, and others specific to Breast Center locations. Role specific responsibilities include performing ultrasound and radiography exams, utilizing PACS and EMR systems, maintaining IV/Contrast competency (except Breast Center), following protocols for patient positioning and radiation protection, communicating effectively with patient care team, cleaning and inspecting equipment, and stocking imaging rooms. Compensation ranges from $31.80 to $49.29 per hour, commensurate with experience.
