Help us build a legacy that stands the test of time as we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team in Pewaukee, Wisconsin with experience implementing, reviewing, assessing and developing risk management policies and procedures, to ensure we meet all company and regulatory compliance requirements. Establishing safety controls and mitigation plans to help keep our employees safe, promote safety, and build Century Companies culture.

The Senior Accountant is a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with 2 years of experience in accounting. Specializing in financial reporting, process improvement and streamlining month-end close procedures. Ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations, and supporting strategic financial decision-making while proficient in Viewpoint. All while working together as a team to continually move Century forward.

What you will do on the team:

• Weekly reviews and reconciliations of bank accounts, payroll and subcontractor payments.
• Weekly cash flow forecasting and tracking.
• Month-end account reconciliations including accruals, depreciation, cash, benefits and work in progress to complete month end closing.
• Sales and Use tax review.
• Fixed Asset management.
• Equipment and vehicle registration and titling.
• Audit preparation including inventory assistance.
• Other software program assistance as needed, including Emburse and Vista.
• Quarterly commission preparation.

Other information:

• This role is based in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, five days per week.
• At least two years of experience in accounting or finance.
• CPA is required.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
