As a **Security Professional - Government Patrol** in **Mountain View, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer service needs, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we are committed to working together with integrity and a people-first approach. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $21.88 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. + Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. + Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the assigned area. + Support emergency response activities according to established protocols. **Minimum Requirements:** + Completion of TSA Terrorism Awareness Training is required and may be completed post hire. + A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required. + A valid driver's license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements is required. + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. + Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
