Job Functions Powder Coating Technician (full time)
Position location: Platte City, Missouri
Estimated salary range: $23-28 per hour
Work Shift: 7:00-3:30, Monday-Friday, Some Weekends Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954. This manufacturing position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Powder Coater. This person will be responsible for various tasks related to Powder Coating operation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our manufacturing processes.
Job Duties •Setup and operate spray guns and ovens
•Mask parts according to prints
•Monitor parts throughout the baking cycle
•Inspect components after coating for quality
•Package product in an efficient manner
•Communicate effectively with team members and management
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment
•Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to assigned place when not in use
Qualifications Position Qualifications
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: •Ability to lift 50lb
•Experience in powder coating environment is a plus, but not required
•Forklift experience preferred
•Ability to wear a respirator
•Familiarity with engineering drawings preferred
•Must be detail oriented
