The Partner Strategy and Business Development team in the Global Partner Organization, leads strategy, planning and business development for the partner business at Workday. We define and execute our strategy with leaders across the business; lead strategic partner relationships; and deliver sizable, net-new revenue growth with partners.

About The Role

The Partner Strategy and Business Development - Center of Expertise (CoE) role is responsible for delivering commercial outcomes committed to Strategic Partnerships. This role will begin by focusing on our Employment Verification Strategic Partnerships and securing Customer employment records for our Partners. This is a sales role responsible for shaping sales strategy, building a pipeline, delivering on planned revenue targets.

The role will:

• Collaborate across our supporting Workmates, including Customer Success, Digital Account Executive, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams, to execute against these commitments.
• Execute coordinated Customer campaigns to sign up new employment verification records members, to meet and exceed our revenue targets.
• Have experience in leading complex product and business development initiatives involving partners at large Software as a Service (SaaS), Cloud Service Provider, or Global System Integrator firms.
• Possess a proven track record of selling and exceeding sales targets.
• Have strong executive presence and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Be a strong facilitator, coordinating across Sales, Product, CX, Marketing, and Partner organizations and operate with Partner obsession and high judgment.
• Exhibit ownership and take accountability for exceeding expectations and targets.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years leading sales teams and/or business development initiatives
• 2+ years of experience working for a SaaS or Cloud Service Provider sales organization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Consistent record of exceeding targets and customer impact
• Ability to frame, structure and execute large and complex Customer campaigns and deals
• Ability to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large-scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomes
• Ability to influence senior leaders and executives
• Strong written and oral presentation skills

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidates compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $ - $ USD based on min and max pay range for that role if performed in CO.
