**Responsibilities** + Analyzing patient histories and completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries where metal objects were involved. + Preparing and administering contrast dyes. + Addressing patients' concerns and ensuring that they are comfortable and calm during scans. + Performing regular inspections of the MRI equipment and machines, and scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed. + Positioning the patients and completing MRI scans according to the physicians' specifications. **We are offering up to a $10,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to excellent benefits, referral bonus incentives, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance.** **Qualifications** + Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) + Active Radiologic Technology license in good standing with the State of Arkansas + American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) + BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire While you're busy impacting the healthcare industry, we'll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, and more! **Overview** As our MRI Technologist at CHI St. Vincent, you'll be responsible for operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians' directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment. You should be able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and also train junior MRI technologists. To be successful as an MRI technologist, you should have sound knowledge of human anatomy and MRI safety procedures.
