The Work You Will Do:

The role of the Marketing Coordinator in the Office of Partnership Engagement will be to support outreach and engagement efforts for small manufacturers. This role will be responsible for developing content and marketing materials to promote small business support programs, including the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, has experience with graphic design tools, and is passionate about helping small businesses grow and succeed.

Pay:  $22/Hour

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing content across digital and print platforms to promote small business support programs
  • Design flyers, graphics, and social media content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
  • Coordinate outreach campaigns and assist in planning promotional events or webinars
  • Engage with small manufacturers and partners to ensure messaging is clear and impactful
  • Support website content updates and maintain brand consistency across all materials
  • Track marketing efforts and assist with basic reporting on campaign outcomes

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset and ability to build positive relationships with small business owners
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (through education or work experience)

 

Qualifications:

As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records. 

 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with small business programs or economic development initiatives
  • Experience working with manufacturers or in a B2B marketing environment
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms or social media analytics
