Marketing Communications Coordinator - Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate all branding, marketing, internal and external communications, and public relations activities for all areas of Carson Valley Health under the direction of the Director of Operations/Executive Leader over Marketing & Communications. Serves as a public representative of CVH at community events, may serve as Public Information Officer as directed. Works together with communications and outreach staff to maintain the brand image, messaging and reputation of the organization.
This position will require some night and weekend hours.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education Required:
Minimum Work Experience
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing role preferred.
· Graphic design skills in Adobe suite are highly desirable and preferred.
· Advanced computer skills required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Photography skills a plus.
· Healthcare experience a plus.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Marketing
· Responsible for unified brand and messaging across all marketing collateral and activities.
· Responsible for adherence to brand standards across the organization.
· Coordinate digital marketing activities.
· Coordinate advertising across all channels.
· Responsible for the creation and distribution of all marketing materials defined in the marketing plan.
· Drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
· Presents design ideas and recommendations to marketing manager.
· Photograph CVH facilities, employees, and medical staff for use in internal and external publications and advertising.
· Internal communications between departments via newsletter creation and intranet updates.
PR & External Communications
· Website content management.
· Social media content and engagement and interactions.
· Reputation and review management.
· Responsible for producing and distributing press releases as requested.
· Responsible for maintaining media relations within the region.
Other Duties
· Support internal communications as necessary.
· Support Outreach events as necessary.
· Maintain mailing and contact database (email or physical mail addresses).
· Demonstrates willingness to identify and/or assume activities relative to the developmental needs of the department.
· Demonstrates dependability/flexibility in meeting scheduling needs of the department and hospital.

Physical Requirements
§ Standing, walking, typing, bending, reaching, and sitting.
§ Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
BENEFITS: If you are scheduled to work part-time at least 20 hours per week and full-time at least 32 hours per week, you are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
