Electrical Project Manager Needed for Thriving New Jersey Company!
To Qualify for this Role, The following is required:
Bachelor's Degree in electrical Engineering or a related field
or 5-10 years of field installation experience
-Experience in electrical engineering, applications, or project management
-Reasonable understanding of CAD software and other electrical design tools
-Knowledge of applicable NEC/NFPA codes, policies, and standards related to electrical construction and installations
Responsibilities:
Electrical Project Managers are responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects.
Duties include:
• Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards
• Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation and records
• Managing and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to keep the project on track
• Performing quality control checks and system validations to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical installations
-Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand
-Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
-Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
-Direct and supervise the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget
-Provide technical advice and resolve problems to ensure that standards for quality, reliability, and safety are met
