Position Title: CULINARY SUPERVISOR - Camp Randall Stadium & Kohl Center Arena

Pay Range : $24 to $28

Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country.

Summary:  As a  Culinary Supervisor  with Levy at UW – Madison , you will directly lead food-service associates to ensure that all culinary operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. You will play a vital role in  maintaining high food quality, safety standards, and an exceptional dining experience for guests while leading a talented team of culinary professionals.   Anticipated start date  August 1 st .

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.


• Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.


• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.


• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.


• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.


• Follows guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.


• Operates food service equipment in a safe manner according to established policies and procedures.


• Remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous culinary leadership experience is required.


• Must be willing to earn Food Handlers Certification.


• Ability to lift and move 20 - 40lbs.


• Must be comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced kitchen.


• Must be available 6am-6pm with weekend availability

Salary/Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
