Technology Investment Group (TIG)

TIG invests across the lifecycle of technology companies, investing directly in growth-stage private and public companies, and also serves as a limited partner in top-tier technology funds. TIG is a global team with a presence in San Francisco and Mumbai. TIG’s mission is to forge long-term financial and strategic relationships with its global partners. It is focused on helping its portfolio companies, entrepreneurs, and fellow asset managers navigate opportunities associated with technological disruption. We’ve partnered with category-leading technology companies such as Stripe, Databricks, Affirm, DoorDash, Grafana, and many more.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that is one of the largest, and most established private equity investors in the world today.You will help to build relationships and invest into world-class & bleeding edge technology funds. Our lean team provides the opportunity for team members to assume significant responsibility.

What will you do as an AVP?

• Work as a key member of small deal teams to assess and execute venture and growth equity fund investments across various strategies
• Be involved across the deal execution spectrum including screening, due diligence, and legal closing
• Help monitor and maintain relationships with existing managers, including by attending Annual General Meetings and working closely with contacts inside the funds
• Evaluate growth stage investment opportunities in technology companies across the world through financial and commercial due diligence, including financial analysis, management team engagement, customer and reference interviews, market research, and competitive analysis
• Monitor and support the investment portfolio
• Build strong relationships within the technology community
• Help support theBridge Forum( ) , TIG’s curated business development platform which convenes global business leaders and leading technologists

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• 4-6 years of prior experience in Growth Equity, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital experience at either a GP or LP

• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university. MBA preferred but not required
• Highly analytical and strong financial modeling capabilities
• Excellent presence and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Team player and enjoys working in a collaborative environment
• Highly motivated self-starter and able to work independently
• Proven interest in technology

Compensation

Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $175,000 and $240,000.

Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
